Onie "Buster" Lamar Henry, 78, of Tallahassee FL. died Friday, March 21, 2015. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Pastor Lem Harr to officiate.

Born in Texarkana TX., Mr. Henry had resided in Tallahassee FL. since 1962 before relocating to Quincy Fl, then later returning to Tallahassee Fl. Mr. Henry served in the United States Navy and went on to have a long career in law enforcement, retiring first from the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee...

Born in Texarkana TX., Mr. Henry had resided in Tallahassee FL. since 1962 before relocating to Quincy Fl, then later returning to Tallahassee Fl. Mr. Henry served in the United States Navy and went on to have a long career in law enforcement, retiring first from the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee in the department of engineering then later retiring from the Security department at Tallahassee Community College. He very much loved his family, music and his country.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melodee "JoDee" Henry. Survivors include, 1 daughter, Cynthia Henry Marsh and her husband Randy of Albany, Ga., 1 son, Russell Lamar Henry and his wife Angie of Quincy Fl., 4 Grandchildren, Heather Pouliot Spivey, Jamie-Lynn Rodgers, Morgan Elizabeth Marsh and Crystal Lynne Henry, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Barbara Dukes of Bainbridge Ga. and a brother in law Bill Wells of Bainbridge Ga.
